Advertise Legal Notices
The Guardian is an adjudicated publication that accepts the following types of legal notices for the county of San Francisco and Alameda only.
Fictitious Business Name Statement (or Abandonment of Fictitious Business Name Statement): The notices costs $75 and runs in the paper for the duration of four weeks. After 4 weeks, the Proof of Publication is sent to the client and is also being filled with the county clerk on the client's behalf. The $7 filing fee is included in the price if the notice is filed in San Francisco, Alameda County filings are sent back to the client.
ABC Notice: The notice costs $65 and runs for either one or three weeks depending on the form. The Proof of Publication is sent to the ABC.
Order to Show Cause for Change of Name: The notice costs $100 and runs for four weeks. After four weeks the Proof of Publication is sent to the client.
Summons (regular): The notice costs $150 and runs for four weeks. After four weeks the Proof of Publication is sent to the client. Summons (Family Law): The notice costs $125 and runs for four weeks. After four weeks the Proof of Publication is sent to the client.
Notice of Petition to Administer Estate (AKA Petition for Probate): The notice costs $150 and runs for three weeks. After three weeks the Proof of Publication is sent to the client.
